I was sitting in the Hombu Dojo one day talking with Hatsumi Sensei. He said to look around…
All the people that are here are supposed to be here. We were brought together by fate or choice. No one was here by accident. That is how he feels about all his students who are in the Bujinkan.
I keep that feeling alive everywhere I teach. Everyone is there by fate or choice. This mysterious fact is one that I choose to honor.
